Despite the Resurgence of the Pugs
You may not find this terribly rewarding unless you're included here, so this is a good time for casual and random browsers to turn back before they get too caught up in the sweep and majesty of the proceedings and can't let go.
A few views of La Bourri
There's been a spell of fine weather in Switzerland, and we've taken an afternoon drive above Torgon in the Chablais Valaisan, 19 October 2014.

At the end of the road, the restaurant montagnard of La Bourri at 1617m altitude. Leysin's Tour d'Aï dominates the horizon.

There's a crowded terrace round the front, but we're walking up into the hills behind.

The Dent de Morcles on the far side of the river Rhône

The village of Yvoire and the tree-line of the Rhône below

The Leysin mountains La Berneuse and La Riondaz (left-centre) and the Pic Chaussy in the centre

Time to come back down

Back down the perilous little road
