Christmas
2010 in Ollon, Switzerland
Whenever
possible, over the years, we try to spend Christmas with the Doctors Durham,
not just because of the turkey, but also because of the stuffing.
You
may not find this terribly rewarding unless you're included here, so this is a
good time for casual and random browsers to turn back before they get too caught
up in the sweep and majesty of the proceedings and can't let go
Not this time, however -- by the time we'd fetched Mercedes at the airport, without her luggage, after she'd been trying for three days to get through the pan-European travel chaos, there was no time to shop for stuffing stuff.
But the turkey's in the oven on Christmas day and we're out for a walk around grey Ollon in the meantime.
Ollon's a lovely village up the hill from Aigle, but it's not at its best today.
Turkey may be done by now.
