A walk to the Col de Soladier
You
may not find this terribly rewarding unless you're included here, so this is a
good time for casual and random browsers to turn back before they get too caught
up in the sweep and majesty of the proceedings and can't let go.
A nice day out in The Nature, 6 July 2004

Starting from around Guedères (canton Fribourg) on the Les Joncs farm road above Les Paccots (1236m altitude)

On a little road past Petit Caudon (1316m)

And Gros Caudon (1449m)

A little mud for a while

To the Col de Soladier (canton Vaud, 1576m)

Further down to the Chalet Soladier (1549m)

For lunch

And then a bit farther on towards the Col de Jaman, but . . .

. . . turning back up to Soladier . . .

. . . and back the way we came.
