Nyon
under ice, January 2005
If
presently you wish not to see photographs of a walk through beautiful Nyon, Switzerland,
then this is certainly the wrong Web page for you. You'll only grow angry and
threaten your health. But you're welcome anyway. No charge.
The
last few weeks of January 2005 was the season of the bise, the murderous northern
wind that closed off the main road to my village of Bassins for three days and
iced the Nyon waterfront up properly.
The
quai at Rive-Est with cold waves off Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), 27 January
2005

we should all have our own.
Lakeside

This

This
could be you. Keep up your health plan, if you have one, disaster could strike
at any moment.
Lovely
Rive-Est, but the hot dog man has taken his hot dog van away for the winter, not
surprisingly. No worries, he'll be back in the summer. We have that to look forward
to.
