in Cannobio, Italy, walking about awaiting our dinner and looking for something
to occupy our time, so the Orrido di S. Anna leaps to mind.
Saint Anna's "Horrible
Place" is just a brief hike out of Cannobio up into the Valle Cannobina along
a nicely groomed path a bit crowded with joggers at the end of the day. The church
is medieval and the bridge is said to be Romanesque.
