Peck spent a fond, early 18 years in New Jersey, preparing himself for life :-),
and here expresses his gratitude to that great state for getting him a running
start and not getting him killed prematurely, but, at the same time, he has not
been back since.

Milhouse Nixon of dreadful memory, but luckily we were all well out of the area
by that time and took no harm.)
